BATON ROUGE, LA (January 22, 2024) – Amesbury Companies is pleased to announce the construction of Sugar Mill Villas Phase II, an additional 93-units will be added to the Sugar Mill Villas apartment community located at 1931 Chemin Metairie Parkway in Youngsville, Louisiana.
The community is within the master-planned Sugar Mill Pond neighborhood with convenient access to Lafayette. Sugar Mill Villas Apartments offers easy access to the area’s shopping, restaurants, retailers and highly sought-after schools. Sugar Mill Pond hosts year-round activities, which include festivals, live music, and other family-oriented events. The community is located within walking distance of the Youngsville Sports Complex, the region’s $20 million 70-acre recreational center. Youngsville was recently ranked the top city to reside in Louisiana by 24/7 Wall St., as covered by USA Today.

Phase II of the project is owned by Sugar Mill Villas II, Limited Partnership, led by Robert Peek and is financed by Greystone under the market rate HUD 221(d)(4) program and credited as green certified and energy efficient. The loan transaction was originated by Donny Rosenberg with Greystone Emerald Group.
The additional units will contain one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Leasing is projected to begin in November 2024.
